Boston Tea Party 2008

What a super time we had at the Tea Party this year! The Hotel has undergone extensive renos and the food and service was A-ONE!

We decided to try our hand (er, feet) at some WCS competition but were a little disappointed to learn when we got there that there would not be any divisional Strictly WCS comps. As we were set on competing, we entered the Strictly Open Division. We danced against super stars like Larry & Heidi Mongeau, Doug Rousar, Willw Colson-Wall, Joe Mahoney, Doug Silton & Jill Demarco. It was a fun experience and we're glad we did it.

For those of you who don't know what a Jack & Jill competition is, this type of competition is designed to showcase a competitor's skills and their ability to dance well with a variety of partners. Competitors enter individually and are randomly assigned to several partners. Sound OK? Okay, let's do it!

Get dressed, get nervous, get ready to dance .... hey, where did all the people come from? There were 156 competitors for this division! Linda did make it the semi-finals after dancing 7 times and tat's where the competition ended for her. Again, a terrific experience.
